WHO WE ARE
Ballast Design Studios is a full service design studio based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We specialize in branding, signage, artwork and experiential design. Our goal is to interact with people on a more personal level, giving everyone a space of which they are proud. We are trying to create an environment that is unique and memorable so everyone can have a more meaningful experience.
CAPABILITIES
We are small industrial and graphic design studio which works with a regular network of subcontractors. This way we can scale the means of production to meet the needs of your project.

CASE STUDIES
Moxy Halifax is the first large scale project since returning to Canada, it involved multiple installations and experiential design for the interior.
The three following case studies are from St. Luke’s Hospitals in Boise, Idaho. From sketching to installation it took over two years to complete the work. There are a few of the the 32 separate projects that were installed in their new Children’s Hospital.
